The caravan park owner hired Matt to repair the existing Canvas tents that were already there. Matt told him that it wasn’t worth it. The skins had shrunk and torn, and the zippers were no longer working. He suggested he replace them with a PVC version that he had designed. Using the ripstop meant it would be stronger and the PVC much easier to clean and it wouldn’t shrink like the old ones did.
The customer wanted something that was low maintenance and would last a long time. Also, something that looked attractive as it was nice accommodation that it would be protecting.
It gave them a product that eliminated shrinking, was stronger, easier to clean, and was Fire Retardant. Giving them a product that would last a lot longer. Also looked a lot more modern. Matt has also designed the structure so that if a panel got damaged it can be easily removed and replaced without too much trouble. Everything is put together with Sail track making it easy to slide panels in and out.
